This policy explains what personal data When Is The Next Bank Holiday ("we") collects and why. We keep it to a minimum.
Using the website
You can use every page and tool without giving us any personal information. The calculators run on our server and we don't store what you enter. Your chosen nation may be saved in your own browser (local storage) so the site remembers it next time; it is never sent to us.
Our web server keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and to fix problems. These are kept only for a short time.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and tools are useful. Analytics cookies are only set if you choose Accept analytics in our cookie banner. If you decline, Google may still receive basic, cookieless signals (such as a page being viewed) without identifying you, as part of Google Consent Mode. We don't use Google Analytics for advertising, and we don't sell your data. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. See how Google uses data.
Cookies and similar storage
We only set non-essential cookies if you agree. When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. You can accept all, reject all or choose, and change your mind at any time.

Email reminders
If you sign up for reminders we store your email address, your chosen nation and reminder timing, and when you signed up and confirmed. We use this only to send the reminders you asked for. The legal basis is your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, and we delete your details within 30 days of unsubscribing. Emails are sent through a transactional email provider that processes data on our behalf.
Advertising
We don't currently show adverts. If we do in future, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent before any advertising cookies are used.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email hello@whenisthenextbankholiday.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
